Academy Apartments
There are five different room types available at Academy Apartments. Prices starts from £175 per week for a Compact Studio.
*Prices vary dependant on length of tenancy (51 or 42 week tenancies available). All room costs include heating, electricity and Wi-fi bills and access to onsite laundry facilities.

Great Location for Campus Learning
Academy Apartments is located directly opposite our campus meaning you can be out of bed and in the classroom within two minutes. The rooms themselves have fantastic views of our campus and the homes of our partners: Lancashire Cricket Ground and Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium.
The area is well-served by bus routes, tram links and has designated cycle lanes so you can easily access Manchester City Centre, Media City UK and Salford Quays too.
One Cross Street
One Cross Street is a collection of fully-furnished modern apartments, located close to Manchester city-centre, just 0.3 miles (7-minute walk) from our UA92 Business School.
All contracts for One Cross Street are 51 weeks in length.
The building has an abundance of heritage features, including exposed brickwork, original beams, and large windows.
Apartments are fitted with luxury appliances and all utilities are included. Tenants also have access to shared laundry facilities, bike storage and hyperfast WiFi.

Is There Security?
To enter the grounds of the buildings, you will have a key fob or door code. Upon entering the buildings, fobs are then required again to enter, and you will have keys to your own room. Each room also has its own post-box downstairs that is secured with a keyless code system.
All buildings are comprehensively covered by CCTV for your own safety.
Are There Laundry Facilities?
There are shared laundry facilities on-site, which are available to use free-of-charge.

HOW DO I APPLY?
If you are due to start in September 2024, you will be able to register your interest for student accommodation from around 9 April 2024.
We will send an email with a link to an online form, which you must complete in full and submit before the closing date.
Once the window has closed, we will assess and allocate apartments. Please note that expressing interest is not a guaranteed booking.
The ‘Expression of Interest’ form will only be sent to applicants who have firmly accepted a place at UA92.
